Our office does not have any contractual arrangements with any insurance company. We will as a courtesy file your claims with the insurance carrier. In order to do so, we must have accurate information regarding your insurance coverage. We will ask you to remit payment for the amount that we estimate your insurance will not cover at the time of your appointment.

Most dental extractions will fall under your dental insurance. The exception to this would be for impacted wisdom teeth. Impactions could be considered either Dental or Medical. We ask that you contact your carrier for explanation of your benefits.

If your services are medical in nature, again, we do not have any contractual arrangements with any insurance carrier. You may be required by your insurance to have a referral and authorization for your visit to our facility. There are times when no network provider is available in your area, that your medical insurance carrier may consider our facility as a network provider. Our office may be required to file a pre-determination of benefits before your insurance carrier will consider our claim as “network”. If you have “out-of-network” benefits on your medical policy, your insurance will apply services to your “out-of-network” deductibles and reduce benefit payments. Again, we ask that you contact your carrier reguarding an explanation of your benefits for oral surgery, or consult your benefits booklet.

If you have additional questions regarding insurance, please contact our office.
